Outlander Tour
Multi-Day Tour

Day 1
Meet at Glasgow/Edinburgh airport and transfer to Stirling, with its famous castle and many associations with `Braveheart`, William Wallace and the Scottish Wars of Independence. Overnight Stirling area.

Day 2
We travel north now to Inverness area where we visit Culloden Moor and Clava Cairns. Overnight Castle Stuart. (contemporary with Castle Leoch)

Day 3
We continue west to Beauly and on to Strathglass, heart of Fraser country. From there we visit Castle Urquhart and the Loch Ness exhibition sat Drumnadrochit before continuing down the Great Glen. Overnight overlooking Loch Lochy.

Day 4
To-day it is over to the Isle of Skye by way of the high pass of Mam Ratagan and the wee ferry at Glenelg, the last of its type in the country. Before crossing to Skye we will visit the ancient brochs in Glen Beag from which Lallybroch gets its name. On our way back to the mainland we pass Eilean Donan Castle which featured in the film “Highlander” (and many Scottish calendars!) Overnight Loch Lochy.

Day 5
South now by way of Glencoe, scene of the massacre of the Macdonalds by the Campbells in 1692 and Loch Lomond to Edinburgh. Overnight in Edinburgh.

Day 6
A full day for you to enjoy our Capital at your own pace. Overnight in Edinburgh.
